This hands-on course introduces the key concepts for business data analytics with MS Excel and serves as an analytics literacy course to help the students gain essential knowledge on business data analytics to enhance firm competitiveness. Concepts introduced in this course aim to develop an understanding of the different types of business data, data modeling techniques, various analytical approaches, and application of these approaches to solve business problems. Students will have hands-on experience with platform-agnostic tools MS Excel. The practices cover both basic and advanced functions of MS Excel, including but not limited to FUNCTIONS, PivotTable, PivotChart, and Adds-in. No textbooks would be required.

Cancelation and Refund Policy

** The following refund schedule applies:
If requesting cancellation in more than three weeks before start date, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total course or workshop cost applies.

If requesting cancellation in  less than three weeks before the start date, a 15% cancellation fee applies.
If requesting cancellation in less than one week before start date, a 25% cancellation fee applies.
If requesting cancellation in  48 hours or less before class start, No refund is available.

All deposits and payments made are nontransferable. The HPE DSI cannot provide refunds, transfer payments, or offer makeup sessions for classes a student might miss, for any reason. If the HPE DSI has to cancel a course/workshop, you will receive a full refund.
