Our Summer STEM Innovation Camp, hosted at the University of Houston, is an engaging, hands-on experience designed for students entering grades 4–8. This dynamic program introduces youth to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through interactive, project-based learning.

Campers will select one focused camp experience for the week, allowing them to dive deeper into a specific area of interest. We are offering two weeks of sessions, and students may choose to attend one or both weeks.

STEM Innovation Camp offerings include:

·       Invent & Print – Bring ideas to life using 3D design and printing

·       Bots & Beyond – Build and control robots using VEX robotics kits

Students will learn in a supportive environment with a 1:10 mentor-to-student ratio, guided by trained undergraduate mentors who provide instruction, encouragement, and positive role modeling throughout the program.

Each day blends hands-on exploration, creativity, and problem-solving, helping students build confidence, think critically, and collaborate as young innovators.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY PAYMENT FOR THE PROGRAM?

The following is included in your payment: breakfast snack, lunch, afternoon snack, t-shirt, swag program supplies.

WHAT DOES MY STUDENT NEED TO BRING WITH THEM TO THE PROGRAM?

Your student does not have to bring any materials as they will be provided to them upon arrival. Students can bring additional snack items but not required.

WHAT SHOULD MY STUDENT WEAR TO THE PROGRAM?

Closed toe shoes (no sandals, crocs, or flip flops). Your student can otherwise wear clothing that is comfortable. Students will have outdoor time, so sunscreen is also recommended.

WILL THERE BE FOOD FOR THE PARTICIPANTS?

Yes! There will be lunch, and healthy snacks and water provided to the students.

WHAT TIME DOES MY STUDENT NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE PROGRAM?

We request that your students arrive between 7:45 - 8:00 AM to successfully check in prior to the start of programming.

HOW DO I DROP OFF MY STUDENT OR PARK AT THE UH CAMPUS?

We will have a table located outside of [insert location] for dropping off and picking up your student without parking. Specific instructions on how to drop off your student and where to park will be sent via email after registration forms are complete. Please be sure to complete the registration in its entirety.

IS EXTENDED DAY AN ADDITIONAL FEE?

Yes, extended day is an additional fee available at the following rates: $50 per day or $150 per week.
