Blast off into summer! If your student is curious about space, the UH Mars Rover Explorers Camp is the perfect adventure. Open to students in grades 3 through rising 8th, this hands-on camp (July 14–17, 2026) lets participants design, build, and explore like real engineers. Description:
With the historic launch of Artemis II ushering in a new era of human space exploration, today’s students are stepping into the role of the Artemis Generation—future innovators who will return to the Moon and push onward to Mars.
This summer, ignite that journey at the Mars Rover Explorers Camp! Explorers will dive into the mysteries of the Red Planet, design and engineer their own rovers to navigate rugged Martian terrain and unleash their creativity through hands-on challenges. The experience culminates with an exciting trip to Space Center Houston, where participants will explore interactive exhibits, view real spacecraft and artifacts, and experience the world of human spaceflight up close—bringing real-world space exploration to life.
