The New Teacher Academy (NTA) supports new teachers in the Houston area through networking and professional development inclusive of relevant topics including classroom management, strategies in STEM classrooms, managing the workload, culturally responsive pedagogy, parent communication, and how to start your classroom. Other relevant topics will be included based on survey results. The NTA will take place at the University of Houston on July 7-8, 2022. Lunch and snacks will be included.
