Service Overview: We provide complimentary 3D print quotes and consultations, allowing you to finalize project details without financial commitment.

Submission Methods:

1.        Email: Send your request to nsmit@cougarnet.uh.edu (or csimmonds@uh.edu for direct contact). Include your name, UH affiliation/department (if applicable), a model attachment, intended size (mm), color/material preferences, and any additional comments.

2.        myNSM Store: Select your desired color, material, and print resolution (low resolution for quicker, cost-effective prints with visible layer lines; high resolution for smoother prints at increased cost). Add any further comments and submit your quote.

3.        In-Person Consultation: Visit Lamar Fleming Office 127, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, to discuss your project with our staff, who can offer valuable advice and information.

Recommendations: Our largest printer accommodates a maximum size of 330 mm x 200 mm x 300 mm, so ensure your model fits within these dimensions. We recommend using .stl or .obj file formats for compatibility and suggest compressing files into a .zip archive, though this is not mandatory.

After submitting your quote, we will review your request and respond via email with the cost and any relevant information.
